2001 Tucson Public Library Display by Kasin Hunter and SAGA

Gourds, gourds, everywhere. Part of agreement with the display coordinator was to bring raw gourds to set around on the shelf tops. Here's a couple pics.

I put a large maranka gourd at the one of the entrances and noticed that a few people, both young and old HAD to touch the ripples on its convoluted surface. Gourds and touching is a natural pairing.
