2001 Tucson Public Library Display by Kasin Hunter and SAGA

Setting up the three main lobby display cases took four hours, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. During that time, several folks came by to see what was up with all these gourds! It was so nice to hear comments, like "museum-grade gourds", "outstanding", "Wow! These are great!" There were a few folks that stayed around to chat about gourds while I kept working on the displays. A then a nice surprise - one of my SAGA members came in with her husband. He happened to have a couple gourd books under his arm and showed them off to me. What a nice day!
